Since 1981, Ronald McDonald House of Dallas has served families who have traveled to Dallas for their child's medical treatment. RMHD provides essential services that removes barriers, strengthen families, and promotes healing when children need healthcare by alleviating the worry and expense of finding a close, comfortable, and affordable place for a family to stay while their child receives the medical care they need.

In 2023, RMHD served over 1,500 families through our programs, including 1,234 families at the House. We also:

• Had 23,836 overnight stays

• 916 visits to the Family Room at Scottish Rite Frisco

• Provided 30,370 meals 

• Served families from 41 states and 13 countries

• Had 3,064 volunteers

The cost per night to house a family is approximately $132— a cost largely covered by individual and corporate donors, community organizations, and special events.
