Our Healing Mission
Founded in 2023 by Metropolitan Anesthesia Consultants, Metro Heals was established to create a permanent fund dedicated to healing and serving our local community.
Our Mission
We promote the healing of our local Dallas Fort Worth community by providing financial aid to free clinics and other local non profit organizations.
“Metro Heals will not be successful if our doctors, CRNAs, and employees only provide dollars to the fund. We must also be active within our community.”
— Anthony Cirone, MD, Co Founder
Mission in Action
Our First Clinic Partnership: Open Arms Clinic
After an extensive search, Metro Heals proudly selected Open Arms Health Clinic in Arlington as the first free clinic to receive financial support in 2023. This milestone marks the beginning of our long-term commitment to strengthening access to care for underserved communities across North Texas.
Blood Drives During Critical Shortages
As anesthesiologists and CRNAs, we understand the importance of a robust and readily available blood supply. In response to a severe shortage, Metro Heals organized our first community blood drive during a critical low-donation week—helping ensure life-saving resources were available when they were needed most.
Collaborative Volunteer Days
Metro Heals coordinates local volunteer days that extend beyond our own group. We bring together teams from Metro Anesthesia along with the surgeons, physicians, nurses, and staff we work alongside every day—creating opportunities for the entire healthcare community to give back and serve together.
First Volunteer Day at North Texas Food Bank
In February 2023, Metro Heals held its first official Volunteer Day at the North Texas Food Bank. Alongside members of Metro Anesthesia and our extended medical community, we helped pack 9,240 meals—a complete hands-on effort to support local families facing food insecurity.
Dallas Marathon Fundraising Teams
Each year, Metro Heals proudly sponsors relay teams in the Dallas Marathon, made up of anesthesiologists, CRNAs, surgeons, nurses, techs, and their families. These teams come together not only to run, but to raise funds and awareness for our mission of healing the community beyond the hospital.
501(c)(3) Status and Incorporation
Metro Heals is officially incorporated in the state of Texas and recognized by the IRS as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. All contributions are fully tax-deductible and go directly toward funding local free clinics, nonprofits, and community outreach efforts.
